Hi would it be possible in the Marketplace to have more filters like "multiplayers/solo", language available, shooter, action, adventure ..
Audio outputs and inputs manager
Add a module to SB for managing audio inputs/ouputs of each stations (like we can see battery levels of hand controlers) Mic and sound with steam VR is complicated. We always need to check if mic is ok, or what is the sound level of the headset. Managing audio like teamspeak directly from SB could also be a great value (but i know hard to implement)
Add simple systems management functions (power off, reboot) to Springboard client
It would be nice to have the ability to power off or reboot the PC from the Springboard console. I envision a simple option in the Monitor where I can select all or a subset of stations and then either reboot or power off. Right now I use VNC Server to remotely connect and do GUI management.... then I use Powershell scripts to power off all the workstations at the end of the day. This is too much for most of my staff to learn, but options for this in the Monitor would be easy for them to learn. I assume the client runs in admin mode so it would be easy to make the WMI call.
I’d like a way to broadcast the mirror screen to OBS and have an in application function to begin recording and streaming to twitch or other media sources so I can have those screens mirrored to the front waiting area so guests and other players can watch people in VR live. Also if people on the Facebook page want they can tune in and watch players at the arcade as well. It engages the customer base to come in. They see someone playing a new game and ask what it is and then their next visit they ask to play that game.
Option to have a station buzz and have the SBVR UI pop up at certain intervals (like half way through time)
At my arcade, I don't charge per person or per game, so I get a lot of groups that share the stations and swap in and out. Almost never do the customers keep track of their own time and while I can see their time on the SBVR dashboard at my PC, I often will get distracted with helping others (or just plain forget) and I don't catch it in time when they're 30 mins into their 1 hour session. It would be cool to have an option that the SBVR dashboard would make a noise like it does when a station is done but just a different sounding noise. It would be nice that it also has the menu pop up like when it's done but with a message that says "TIME TO SWITCH" and then have "STAY IN CURRENT GAME" or "SWITCH TO A NEW GAME" options so that the new player can easily pick which one they want.
Add "Game Loadouts" for easily switching available games on a Station
This way, we could have the "educational" games packages only on certain stations or the "premium" games flexibly switched on as packages on stations.
Spectator Screen shows that the Springboard overlay is active.
9/10 problems we have are "I cant see anything!", after the user has accidentally opened the Springboard overlay. As there is no external way of seeing that this overlay is open, it is difficult to advise customers the correct fix (as they are reporting game faults, not an overlay)
Time Remaining on the Display Screen
It would be nice if we could have the time remaining on the display screen, in a floating window, as well as in the headset.
Run integrity check on CDS manually on a specific title
The current integrity check on CDS only run when startup and when a title failed. Would like to run it manually on specific title similar to Steam integrity check.
