Version 4.2.7 introduced new shortcut system that caused the launcher to stop and not usable over the weekend that brings in huge impact. Then the version 4.2.8 fixed the issue. But the weekend has passed and the damage can't be undone.

Therefore please remove the auto update so that we can keep a stable version over a new feature version.
