Game Launch Popups
Nick Wallace
Would be great if we could add in for Popups for certain games to appear, perhaps with instructions and preferably with pictures. For instance Super Hot is an amazing game and customers love it but talking them through how to start a new game is tedious, being able to give some instructions with photos or a short video when they select it would save a buttload of time!

I agree, anything that can save us time and empower customers to figure out more on their own would be great.

I totally agree, this would be super helpful

I had commented on this on FB, so I'll just paste my responses here as well:
"I really like the idea of this. To expand, we already have the window that's off to the side that provides the controls as an image, but what you've said here gives me an idea of a good implementation. What if when every game is selected, there is an option right next to the launch button that says "Game Tutorial". When they arrive, the only instruction we need to give them is, "If this is your first time in VR or if it's just your first time playing the specific game/s that you play tonight, then make sure to click that tutorial button first." This way, what we say initially is cut down on and also the customers don't have any additional steps to go through if they just want to get into the games. Further, at any time when in a game, they can hit the System button to get to the SBVR overlay like always and that same Tutorial button is there for them to see it again or for the first time if they skipped it before."
Then when replying about how "forced" the message should be due to how stubborn some of our customers can be:
"Maybe the first time a session is begun, it has that prompt asking if it's their first time. If they say no, not their first time, then they don't see the prompt each other time. Those that say yes will get the tutorial prompts the rest of their session length. Eventually, once SBVR has support for members and it knows who everyone is when they book, this process is remembered and automated."
And then expanding on that:
"Yeah, it should be something that is always skippable but also is always something that they can see it again, no matter how experienced they are."
