Launcher Filter

Seems there's been allusions to this feature being implemented for a while yet nothings come of it. It would be ideal to have the option to set a filter for a station as one does with Age Restriction. Right now in your game library you can set the age range for each game. It's handy for offering parents a discounted "kidzone" option wherein I set a station with an age restriction so only the games I've marked for a certain age come up.
This feature has been useful yet with the way age restrictions work you can only build off of the selections starting with the younger age going up. If there were an additional filter option you could set games to be Group A, B, C, etc, and then launch certain sets of games based on special offers. For example, we've started a Thursday Buddy Night deal on -certain- two player games that run cheap enough to work with a discount. I have a poster showing which games apply for the Buddy Night discount (2 players, 1 hour: $40) but I have to remote launch them; it's awkward having them sift through all the games and telling them only which apply. Ideally if a couple wants the Buddy special I could just set their stations as 'Group A' and they'll see all the Buddy Night games.
With a launcher filter parlors could also implement a membership program for certain games (say, the ones with pay per month costs) or offer special rates on certain game packages. Right now the current model is an open buffet without the discrete means that actual buffets use to make their lineup profitable. Filter launch allows different price tiers and thus allows more catered options for different types of customers, better promotional events.

YES! Please ... I've half ass hacked the age group settings to do this in real time when parents say, "kids stuff only" ... I then quickly go to the Monitor and adjust the age setting for THAT particular station and the menu changes in REAL TIME.
This is the important part, DON'T make it part of the experience setting, make it so it's flexible and REAL TIME on the FLY per station.
For me, it would be awesome to have "Game Profiles" that simply has meta data for which games I want to change on the Launcher in REAL TIME ... for a station, or group of stations.
Heck, thinking about it now, it would be great as an option in the Remote Launch section of the Launcher. Again, not tied to the Tags of games we have now ... because I might want to have a "Thursday Buddy Night" as said above that is a SUBSET of my "Normal Tags" of Shooter, Art, Horror, etc .... AND I should be able to pick multiple "Game Profiles" .....

Scott Hanson: Kudos for taking the trouble to create a visual! I think a lot of marketing prospects will open up once we have Game Profile options. We'll no longer be bound by the buffet-model.

Nxucik: love your idea! We’ve done Art Nights - but it’s such a pain to setup the stations Will be much easier with profiles, or even hidden tags

Scott Hanson: I've had that exact idea using the art experience programs but also saw it as being a cumbersome operation. So far I can't find any clever hacks to setting up separate profiles per station without going through the trouble of actually disabling most games per station. Hope this gets implemented soon.

Nxucik: yeah, nothing clever on this side except using the age restrictions, but since they are cumulative - it’s hard to manage.
If only they had tied the games to the “experience” instead of the stations, it would have been easier to enable and disable experiences and then assign those to stations.
