I’m always with the players when they’re are playing but my main system is on the front desk Pc, whenever I need to start and stop session time to help someone I have to constantly run to the front pause time, run back, help someone, run back to the front, restart time... I’m sure you can see the issue.
I use the web browser version but in all honesty it’s faster to run around because when I log into the operator monitor screen it sends me to a login page, then to the operator panel then to the monitor stations page where I can then scroll (on the small screen vertically doesn’t even have the sessions showing only the active sessions, I have to turn it sideways which messes up the screen more if they’re at the bottom stations) to the session I want, select them... yada yada...
We need a simple iPhone app that just shows active sessions, let me select the session or group and then pause and start time on the fly without all the scrolling, logging in, switching screens... it’s far too cumbersome and time consuming. I even considered getting a dedicated iPad for this and also for making and taking bookings too but it’s still far too challenging to work with the web browser version on the iPad.
